NEIC organizes a varietty of environmental awareness programs for various target groups and the general public.

The development of school libraries is one of the activities carried out by NEIC and, 36 environmental libraries were established for schools covering all districts island-wide. In addition to this, a program to establish environmental libraries for all provincial and district offices of the CEA is also being implemented.
